Judith A. Strode

May 21st, 1937 – January 10th, 2015

Judith A. Strode, age 77, of Ipava, IL, passed at 2:24 am on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Graham Hospital in Canton, IL. She was born on May 21, 1937 in Hurdland, MO, the daughter of Willard and Geraldine (Gardner) Kite. Judith married Richard Strode on December 14, 1957 in Ipava, IL. He survives.

Also surviving are her two daughters, Michele Denise (and Mark) Fyffe of Phoenix, AZ and Cheryl (and Greg Shaw) Strode of Smithfield, IL, her son, Michael (and Irma) Strode of Table Grove, IL, eleven grandchildren, Josh Fyffe, Thomas Fyffe, Benjamin Fyffe, Angela Harbison, Francis Fyffe, Shawn Kelly, Jordan Kelly, Jeremiah Nuhn, Kurtis Strode, Garrett Strode, Ashley Strode, eleven great-grandchildren, her two sisters, Diana (Norman) Spencer of Poolesville, MD and Debbie Schempp of Kirksville, MO and one sister-in-law, Marcena Kite of Kirksville, MO.

Judith is preceded in death by her parents, one grandson Casey Kelly and her brother, Jackie Kite.

Judith was a homemaker. She loved to babysit and raising her children. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was also a member of the Berean Christian Church in Ipava, IL.

Private family services will be held. Memorials may be made to the Berean Christian Church in Ipava, IL.
