Sheila M. Belville

August 3rd, 1945 – October 8th, 2018

Sheila Marie Belville, age 73 of Lewistown, IL, passed away at 2:00 am on Monday, October 8, 2018 in her home. She was born on August 3, 1945 in Canton, IL, the daughter of Dalbert W. and Bessie M. (Simpson) Smith. On August 28, 1963, Sheila married Herschel Belville in Havana, IL. He survives.

Also surviving is one son Brian Belville of Lewistown, IL, three grandchildren; Bailey, Dalton, and Payton Belville, her sister Connie (and Mike) Beard of Lewistown, IL, her brother-in-law, Harold (and Joyce) Belville of Astoria, IL, two nieces, Shelly (and Richard) Bainter and Bobbie (and Jeff) Nelson, nephew Darren (and Denise) Belville), and many cousins.

Sheila was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Craig W. Belville.

She worked at Oney's Grocery Store and True Value Hardware, both in Lewistown. She also worked in housekeeping at the Clarytona Manor Nursing Home in Lewistown.

Sheila was a member of the Lewistown Church of the Nazarene. She loved to crochet and loved animals. She enjoyed bowling and bowled in leagues in Lewistown. She was a big Elvis fan, enjoyed playing games on her computer, riding motorcycles, and camping, often camping on the weekends.

Services will be held on Thursday, October 11th at 11:00 am. at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria, IL. Pastor Scot Shelburne will officiate. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown. Memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Association.
